The hydraulic drum crusher/compactor efficiently crushes steel drums and resets automatically, ready for the next drum. This versatile machine also features a drum compacting function, which is activated by removing the drum crushing platen. It can crush any drum up to fifty-five (55) gallons, while the compacting function is designed for fifty-five (55) gallon drums only. This dual functionality makes it a valuable addition to your equipment lineup. Safety features include a pressure relief valve to prevent overload and a door interlock system to ensure the motor operates only when the door is securely closed. Built-in fork pockets facilitate easy transport. Note: Only ribbed drums should be crushed, as smooth-walled drums are not suitable for this machine. An included drip pan helps minimize oil spills, and replacement or additional drip pans are available.
